Testimonials

"While being a teammate, mentor, trainer, and friend all within the past four years, Taylor Jannsen has been a huge role model to me.  His love and passion for the game of basketball, along with his hard work towards everything he does inspires me to do just the same.  I know for a fact that I would not be the player and person I am today without his knowledge, advice, and the ability to motivate and push me to the max.  It is admiring to see what he does to young athletes like myself to get the best out of them.  It is not surprising to me the success he has already had, and the success he will continue to have the rest of his career."

-Jake Bast,  4-year letter winner, 2-year starter at Carroll University

"After just one workout with Taylor and I knew I was improving my basketball skill level.  All of the drills Taylor uses are fun and exciting, which challenge your individual skill set.  Every week I look forward to my workouts with Taylor because I know I will be getting better and perfecting my performance for games and practices next season.  I wish I had been able to work out with him sooner because as a college senior, I only have one season left so its now or never.  Taylor brings a unique twist to any other performance coach and has the knowledge of basketball as well as strength / conditioning  that many will never have.  He is able to critique your work with positive criticism and help you realize your weaknesses in a special way.  My workouts are high level and intense.  I love the energy he brings to gym and inspires me to keep getting better.  I would recommend him to any athlete who is looking to have focused workouts to push your game to your "performance max"."

-Rebecca Mayo, 4-year letter winner and 1st-team all conference performer at Lakeland College

"During the summer with Taylor he worked me out twice a week. Doing full body workouts and also working on foot speed. The workouts were always tough, so tough that I don't know if i would of been able to finish them without him there pushing me. Although he pushed me he's still a very personable guy. I can really see the work paying off for me this year though. I can do things I couldn't do last year. Without working out with Taylor i don't think it'd be possible for me to be doing the things Im doing right now."

-Kray Bradley, WBCA All-Star Alternate, 1st Team All Lake Country & Woodland Conference (2011-2012)

"I have had numerous opportunities to work with Taylor over the past several years. He has taken on the responsibility of teaching basketball to many young players in the Pewaukee community. He is knowledgeable, passionate and patient. I constantly receive compliments from parents on workouts he runs. Most of all, kids learn to love the game because of his leadership. I do not know of a better person to have on your team if you are looking for results."

"Taylor Jannsen is one of the hardest working players I have had during my 15 year coaching career. His passion and competitive spirit is second to none. Taylor always impressed me with his relentless desire to keep getting better, and always looking for a way to improve. That work ethic, combined with his excellent communication skills and committment to his academic work, has always led me to believe that he will be great at anything he chooses to do. Taylor loves working with young athletes, and I know he will do an amazing job developing young people into great players, AND great people. He knows how to teach, motivate, and improve young people."

-Coach Dave Buchanan, Head Coach Carroll University

"Taylor was not always the fastest, quickest, or best shooting player I was around, but being the tireless worker that he was, he made himself into one of the most well-rounded and reliable players I had the fortune of playing with."

"Taylor always had a great understanding of basketball and saw certain aspects of the game that oftentimes go unnoticed by others. I made it an emphasis of mine to always ask Taylor what he saw during a game/practice because I trusted his knowledge and knew he could help me in a number of different ways."
